The group is working with, and refining, a number of different eco-hydrological and erosion models, with a special interest in relating water, sediment, nutrient and carbon fluxes. The models which are applied range from spatially distributed, conceptual erosion and C turnover models (SPEROS-C) to more process- oriented surface runoff and erosion models (e.g. Multi-Class Sediment Transport MCST model) coupled with C turnover (MCST-C). Moreover, the group has an expertise in macro-scale hydrological modelling with the Soil Water Assessment Tool SWAT and was involved in the development of the model DANUBIA.

A downloadable version of SPEROS-C will be available soon.
